Day 5 Windermere Charterfields

And the day dawned bloody hot!
As good a day as any to run a marathon!

Very tired after today's effort. Left leg gave up after 6 miles, but came alive again at half way just as I'd resigned myself to a walk.

I must have managed 10 minute miling all second half but don't know how! Chris Connors supplying me with Fanta certainly helped. Thanks Chris.

Here are some stats:

Post run was glorious. Nice dip in the lake, and lovely surprise visit by David Grey. I leave you to try to rest and get my legs sorted for another assault on Langdale. Loads of people are asking so just as a reminder - this is an unsupported challenge. No physio, carrying all provisions.
