Day 12 Langdale

And the day dawned cloudy and still. Then it rained and rained ... and rained
As good a day as any to run a marathon!

Today was a struggle. Right ankle sore but good course management still got me a 5.27.Which ain't bad on Langdale. I re-timed my feeding and drinking to match the uphills when I would be walking in any case. And kept going on all the flats and downhills.

Fortunately everything else is in fine fettle. No other leg problems, so although it hurts, it is localised.
I'll be working on it as soon as I've finished this.

Yet again Jim Meta drove up to support me. And this time with Anji which was lovely. Frankly it's like being in the Tour de France with your team car. Dishing out the drugs drinks, then collecting the empty bottles from the car window as it swoops past!
