It's all about the 10 in 10

I've just got back from Brathay where day 3 of this year's Brathay Challenge has just finished.

That's the Windermere Marathon 10 times in 10 days and what a great group of athletes are giving it their all and more to complete.

As always some lovely consistent runnning at the front of the field and courage to overcome great physical pain and long times out on the road by others.

And I must mention the phenomenal fund raising effort by every single one of them. The combined total is over £100k this year - at a time when (with the relatively sudden withdrawal of much public sector funding) Brathay needs every penny to fund its remarkable work with some of the most disadvantaged children and young people in the country.

My every best wish to all of you for the coming days and I look forward to sharing the road with you next Sunday.

Live their story as the days unfold
